McLarens Aviation team conquers the London to Brighton Charity Bike Challenge

Several of our McLarens Aviation team members once again participated in the British Heart Foundation‘s London to Brighton Challenge on Sunday 19 June – one of Europe’s oldest and longest charity bike rides. They completed the annual 55 mile cycle ride from London’s Clapham Common, via the infamous ‘Ditchling Beacon’, to Brighton’s sea front.

This year our team was organised and led by Elliot Osborne (Technical Services Engineer) and included Phil Spurr (RAMS CAMO Manager), Mark Rogers (Commercial Manager, RAMS), Akhil Varghese of ExecuJet, and a friend, Calvin.

Approximately 20,000 others cyclists enjoyed a sunny day with cool breezes. With multiple refreshment stops en-route, including a number of delightful English pubs conveniently located in the picturesque County of Sussex.

It’s not too late to donate – here is the link to our team’s fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/McLarens-Aviation-and-Friends
