Biography

Vito Russo, CPCU, started his career in 1990 with Aetna Property & Casualty where he received extensive training and first-hand experience in commercial and homeowners’ coverage, investigation, building damage estimating, and business income claim evaluation. While at Aetna Vito also gained experience in hurricane catastrophe claims handling, by being deployed on several hurricanes in the southern United States. After his time at Aetna, he spent a few years working with St. Paul/USG & G where he was able to complete his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation. Vito later moved on to work for a New York regional Independent Adjustment firm before coming aboard at McLarens as an Executive General Adjuster in 2005. Vito is currently a Senior Executive General Adjuster/ Vice President for McLarens. He handles a portfolio of clients that range from nationwide to global risks. Additionally, he has extensive experience and knowledge handling complex claims in hospitality, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, and construction sectors. Vito has been integral in maintaining existing global accounts and obtaining new global and national accounts.
