Jaco van de Merwe joined McLarens Aviation from Atlas Air Worldwide, based in Dubai, where he was responsible for the maintenance program on their fleet of aircraft, leased to Emirates Airlines. Previously he worked as a licensed aircraft engineer for Carglolux and Gamco, both located in Abu Dhabi, and for Classic Jets in Cape Town. Jaco has flying experience gained as a pilot for DHL in Africa on King Air 200 and 350 aircraft.
