Mike commenced his adjusting career at Toplis and Harding in 1978, handling both property and liability claims. In 1982, he was recruited by Maxson Young, where he advanced to General Adjuster / Assistant Vice President, and member of the U.S. Management Team.
Mike participated in a management buyout of the firm in 1992 and currently serves as a Vice President and Executive General Adjuster, specialising in commercial and public entity property and business interruption claims, as well as an increasing amount of Builder’s risk losses. Mike served Catastrophe Duty for the Northridge Earthquake, managing 700+ residential claims along with his commercial accounts. He has been involved in catastrophe losses involving Hurricanes Hugo, Andrew, Opal, George, Katrina, Rita, Wilma, Ike, and others.
He has handled large construction losses historically and is increasing his experience in this field all the time. He also handles the claims for a large California client, including their course of construction projects.
