Sam started his insurance career as a claims handler for Commercial Union, before joining McLarens Toplis as a technician in 1999. During the subsequent 2 years he gained a wealth of experience working within the Reading office and on secondment to Guildford during a surge period, before being promoted to trainee property adjuster in 2001.
In 2004 Sam joined Davies and Company in Guildford where he was predominantly a domestic adjuster, before relocating to the Brentford office where he had exposure to commercial and high net worth losses. He continued his career with GAB Robins in 2009, gaining additional experience in commercial losses and assisting with the Cockermouth and Workington floods of 2009.
In 2011 Sam joined QuestGates where he became involved in a variety of Commercial, Domestic and High Net Worth work, assisting with surge works including the 2015 Cumbria floods.
In May 2016, Sam joined McLarens. He became Executive Manager of the South West in 2019.
