Before joining McLarens in 2017, Scott worked as a forensic accountant based in the Delaware Valley area. As part of the transition to loss adjusting, Scott has continued to expand his insurance knowledge and expertise, currently holding the position of National General Adjuster, and is based out of Philadelphia.
Scott has deployed on every major hurricane event since joining McLarens, with prominent exposure to complex large loss scenarios for various hospitality, commercial real estate, manufacturing, habitational, and resort properties. He has also become well-versed in perils such as fire and water damage, including the assessment of structural elements and building envelope issues. Scott’s forensic accounting experience has proven valuable with time element cases, including intricate business interruption claims, providing insight and perspective when challenged on a significant loss.
Scott collaborates as a trusted partner with the risk management teams of several Fortune 500 companies and is currently involved with nominated accounts exceeding USD 10 billion in total insurable value.
