After graduating from Assumption University, Utit joined Mclarens in 1997 as a loss adjuster. In 2005, Utit was promoted to be a senior loss adjuster handling more complex losses being a part of an inspection team for the larger property claims (i.e. floods in southern Thailand including the 2004 tsunami). Within three years, Utit was promoted to Property & Casualty Manager leading a team comprised of 8-10 experienced adjusters in a wide range of complex, large losses, catastrophe situations including major floods in 2011. Currently, Utit is the Operations Manager for the Property & Casualty Department.
Notable assignments that Utit has handled include an explosion at a Thai oil refinery, fires at a waste management factory / glove factory, department stores fires, and hotel losses following the 2004 tsunami.
In addition, he has managed numerous major losses for automobile, electronics, and food manufacturers in the 2011 Thai floods. Utit assisted in adjusting a major fire loss at a electronic equipment factory, with overall loss of approximately USD 150 Million.
Utit is also experienced in handling risk surveys for manufacturers/wholesalers of gemstones, diamonds, gold bullion in Gemopolisa and is also involved in various Jewellers Block surveys, including theft/burglary losses, travel losses, and fidelity guarantee for manufacturers/wholesalers of gemstones diamonds.
He was recently an expert speaker at a Products Liability seminar for Sompo Insurance and also involved in a seminar for liability claims management for Bangkok Mass Transit Systems PCL.
