McLarens, the global independent insurances services provider and loss adjuster specializing in complex, commercial and niche markets, has added Vincent Marrot as Senior Executive General Adjuster to its Energy & Natural Resources team effective 20 February 2020 Reporting into Global Director- Natural Resources, Matthew Lebrun, Vincent is based in Houston, Texas and continues to build the growing international division and focus on both technical service offerings as well as securing client relationships for the division.
Vincent joins McLarens from Braemar Adjusting and brings nearly 30 years of proven experience in claims, engineering, consulting, investigation, and management for the Oil & Gas, Engineering, and Petrochemical sectors. Serving most recently as Braemar’s Managing Director – Americas, he managed P&L and operations in North and South America, and liaised with corporate clients, Brokers, Underwriters and Captive Insurance Executives regarding major losses, policy wordings and coverage and subrogation actions. In addition, Vincent assisted a London P&I Club, authorized by the US State Department under OFAC, advising on control of well and redrilling matter on the third largest wreck removal claim in history. Vincent also handled the Deep water Horizon adjustment on behalf of the Operator. Throughout his career, Vincent has held various senior leadership positions overseeing engineering, construction risk, and industrial insurance losses.
Vincent has an impressive academic background and holds multiple master degrees, including Petroleum Engineering, Drilling and Reservoir Engineering (“Diplôme d’Ingénieur Troisieme Cycle”, ENSPM) from the French Institute of Petroleum, France, Engineering for Competitive Manufacture from the Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield, UK, and finally Mechanical Engineering, Design and Management (“Diplôme d’Ingénieur”) from UTC, France.
