Cassie’s career in Insurance began in 2005 as a Claims Assessor for Amlin Plc within the credit insurance department, where she managed a large portfolio of trade insurance cases as well as working alongside the underwriters when writing new business and at renewal stage.
In April 2011, Cassie joined Crawford & Company as Programme Administrator’ within the Global Markets Department and handled the billing process for a large number of programmes. Within 6 months, Cassie was promoted to ‘Global Programme Manager’.
The main focus of this role was to manipulate the in-house claims system to suit the client’s needs and work closely with the client and IT vendor to implement any changes needed as well as liaising with the clients to ensure their needs were being met.
Cassie took some time away in 2013 to have her children, before returning to her role in 2019 as ‘Programme Manager’ this time, for Broadspire by Crawford and Company within the newly established ‘Global Risk Solutions team’ managed by Johanna Mulley.
Within this role, Cassie worked together with the team to implement and manage a number of TPA programmes, globally, providing support and programme administration and management. Cassie specialised in the implementation and management of global programmes, ensuring that the clients’ system and reporting needs were met as well as providing support wherever required, including internal and external training to clients and colleagues.
In 2021, Cassie joined McLarens as Global TPA Programme Manager as part of the Global TPA team. Cassie is the Annual Dinner Secretary for The Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex.
