Amy entered the industry in 2014 assisting on Portal cases and then began a portfolio of public liability and employer’s liability claims on a desktop basis. In 2015 she moved to a brokers, where her experience was broadened handling a multitude of claims, stemming from liability to professional indemnity. In 2017, Amy moved to an adjusting role which allowed for a wealth of experience to be gained handling a broad spectrum of liability claims.
Amy has previous experience in handling Animal Act claims, both domestic and with large veterinary groups, dealing with restaurant chains and large retail outlets and handling EL and PL claims from cradle to grave in niche markets.
Amy manages a significant volume of European claims and is well-versed in the nuances of several European countries, including their distinct principles and claim protocols. She often deals with claims in large commercial European premises and has assisted with handling large losses overseas. She has a strong background in third-party property damage claims and her expertise is in third-party subsidence claims and tree-related damage. Additionally, she handles numerous public sector claims and serves as a referral point for local authorities.
NOTABLE ASSIGNMENTS:
Identifying fraud in employer’s liability claims and gathering key evidence behind the scenes, allowing for discontinuance of the claims when presented or significant reduction in anticipated damages.
