Craig started his career in the insurance industry as an independent adjuster in Grande Prairie, Alberta in 1999. He is licensed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.
Along with considerable experience with commercial property and liability risks, Craig has handled a variety of large and complex Builders Risk and Wrap-up claims from residential property to institutional, industrial and office projects. Craig is also experienced in dealing with complex casualty and commercial liability claims. He has also handled equipment breakdown and boiler and machinery claims for educational, medical, and other commercial and institutional clients. Craig has also handled many heavy equipment claims, including one which involved more than fifty pieces of equipment damaged in the same incident.
Craig has been part of many catastrophic property teams, including wildfires in Fort McMurray in 2016, Williams Lake in 2017 and High Level in 2019, as well as flooding in Regina in 2014 and Fort McMurray in 2020. Craig has led teams of adjusters handling large losses including automobile and recreational vehicle dealers, municipalities and damages to various kinds of property from catastrophe events over extended areas including First Nations Reserves in various parts of Alberta.
