MULTIPLE CASES OF SUCCESS
FIRST
When a claim was submitted for damage to an original Picasso sketch, our adjuster knew the real question to ask, “Was it really a Picasso?” A review of the sketch’s provenance revealed that it was not.
SECOND
Another fine arts loss saw a stain suddenly appear on a painting, giving rise to a million-dollar claim. By locating an old auction house transparency of the painting, our adjuster was able to show that the stain had been there for at least two decades.
THIRD
In the loss of an ingot of precious metal under transportation by armoured car, our adjuster found it being used as an office doorstop by the transport company. It had simply dropped from the carrier bag and gone unrecognised.
