I am a dedicated professional with over 24 years of experience in the Insurance Loss Adjusting Industry, specializing in Media and Entertainment. I started my career with Knowles Loss Adjusters, becoming the PA to the Managing Director. In 2005, I joined Specialist Media Adjusters, Cunningham Lindsay Adams Ltd, part of CL International as Business Manager, transferring to Adams Media Adjusting, which later became part of Sedgwick International, handling all elements of the Specialist Adjusting Practice. In this role I ran a TPA Bordereau scheme for BBC Production Insurance and help set up other TPA fundholding schemes, managing the accounts and reporting essential MI.
In 2024 I rejoined my Adjusting colleagues now at McLarens Entertainment & Contingency UK&I and in my role, for several clients I monitor and produce complex multiple monthly bordereaux, manage fund reconciliations and make claim payments from escrow Bank accounts, closely liaising and assisting client Managers. I focus on accuracy and clarity in all reports and documentation, and assist my colleague Adjusters with direct client management correspondence, gathering essential data and engaging in liaison with clients, attending meetings and providing all aspects of client support. I deliver Management Information to Directors, issue invoices to clients, and meticulously monitor monthly work in progress (WIPs), updating our internal system with the current claims status. I further support the Adjusters in direct liaison with Claimants, monitoring our Work in Progress, and I am now trained to handle and adjust lower value property and equipment desktop claims from start to finish for TPA clients.
