The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) has a rich history of educating and supporting adjusters through indstry recognised certification and professional development. Until recently, however, aviation loss adjusting was not included in the scope of CILA status. That changed in 2015 when members of McLarens Aviation, like Paul Clark, met with the CILA Executive Director and began taking steps to incorporate aviation into the organisation such as inclusion in the C3 Advanced Diploma examination paper and establishing a Special Interest Group (SIG).
