Mr. Fred Perez, Vice President and Executive General Adjuster, McLarens Global Claims Services is speaking on the topic “LITIGATION MANAGEMENT – Bridging the Cultural Gap in a Global Environment.” The CLM Annual Conference is the premier annual event for professionals in the claims and litigation management industries.
Fred entered the insurance industry in 1978 after graduating from UCLA with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Later, he attended Southwestern University School of Law and joined McLarens in 1990.
Fred is a licensed adjuster in California, Nevada, Idaho & Utah. He has been involved in a number of losses spread between various lines of business. Fred also serves the specialty market by attending mediations and settlement conferences on behalf of insurers.
His liability experience encompasses all aspects of casualty claims. He has adjusted numerous multi-million dollar claims. Fred has acted as the Third Party Claims Administrator on several programs for domestic Insurers and London Underwriters.
Fred has served as Chapter Secretary, Vice Chair & Chair of the Southern California Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) He is also past president of the Southern California Insurance Professionals (SCIP) and has served as a member of the Board of the Latin American Agents Association (LAAA).
