Renowned industry leader will spearhead development of a ‘truly global’ TPA proposition.
London, United Kingdom, 27 May 2021: Leading global insurance services provider McLarens has strengthened its Third Party Administration (TPA) offering with the appointment of Kirsten Early as Global Head of TPA. Kirsten will spearhead the strategic expansion of McLarens TPA, building upon the firm’s existing proposition to develop a global service focussed on quality, specialist expertise and data-driven solutions.
Kirsten is a renowned industry leader within TPA services. Her 20-year career has focussed primarily on building and implementing international claims initiatives, with senior management roles held at Marsh, ESIS and Crawford. She has extensive experience working with brokers, insurers, captives and corporates, including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients worldwide. Her expertise lies in developing the protocols, best practices and claims servicing guidelines to ensure the delivery of consistent, efficient programmes, across all lines of coverage.
As Global Head of TPA based in London, Kirsten will report into Chris Panes, Chief Operating Officer Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and take responsibility for the further development and strategic growth of McLarens TPA. The newly created role will support the alignment of McLarens’ regional TPA operations, to develop a dedicated division focussed on offering consistency and quality across the firm’s international network. In line with McLarens’ provision of expert-led loss adjusting for complex, commercial and niche insurance markets, McLarens TPA offers a specialist approach to outsourced claims handling, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients. Kirsten will draw upon her expertise to further enhance this capability.
Information analytics and data-based insights will be central to this approach, and one of Kirsten’s first priorities will be the integration of technology and operations capabilities within McLarens One – the firm’s end-to-end global claims platform – to drive innovation and facilitate the delivery of global data sets to TPA clients. McLarens TPA will offer a seamless, single worldwide platform and will not be constrained by legacy systems, delivering solutions that are designed and built for the rapidly changing market requirements.
Gary Brown, CEO, McLarens: “We are delighted to welcome Kirsten to the McLarens team. She brings significant experience and understanding of the global TPA sector and is acknowledged as one of the leaders in her field.
TPA services have long been a successful part of our business – primarily in the US, UK and Ireland, but also, on a smaller scale, with individual local markets across our international network – however, we have not had a truly global service proposition.
We have steadily seen an increase in TPA demand across all key classes of business and have taken the strategic decision to expand our capabilities in this growing area. We see a huge opportunity to better service this global market.” Kirsten Early, Global Head of TPA, McLarens: “McLarens has a unique and positive company culture and the team here has built a reputation for quality and technical excellence. These will be key aspects of our TPA proposition. We believe we can offer something different to the marketplace: a truly global TPA service aligned with McLarens’ worldwide adjusting team, operating seamlessly together on a single claims platform. Irrespective of where clients are domiciled or losses occur, we will service them as one business in a consistent and efficient manner to drive quality and excellence.”
