McLarens Ireland appoints Mary McAuliffe in Cork

International loss adjuster McLarens has announced the appointment of Mary McAuliffe ACII as an Executive Adjuster in its Cork office. A well-known adjuster in the Munster region, with over 18 years’ experience, Mary will support the continued growth of the business’ casualty offering.

Mary, who joined from OSG, commenced her career in insurance working in the claims department of a local Insurer before moving into commercial broking. She subsequently moved into liability claims adjusting and has gained significant experience in the investigation and handling of a wide variety of liability losses. She now specialises in handling complex and high value casualty losses with a focus on personal injury, public liability, third party property damage, defamation and professional indemnity. She is currently a council member of the local Cork branch of the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

McLarens’ Cork office forms part of its All-Ireland operation, which also includes offices in Belfast, Derry and Dublin. 

Alan Browne, Executive Adjuster, who heads up McLarens’ Cork office, commented: “Mary is well-known and respected in the market and her expertise in the liability arena is notable. This is a significant area of business for us and Mary will no doubt support our continued growth.”
