(4th October 2019) McLarens, a leading, global independent insurance services provider, announced today the appointment of Stephen Parsons as Managing Director of McLarens Hong Kong Limited. In this capacity, Stephen will be responsible for leading the firm’s growing operation in the territory, with an emphasis on service delivery and business development.
Mr. Parsons is a senior insurance and management executive, with 40 years of experience gained through working in the UK, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Hong Kong in a diverse range of roles. He is well-known in both the claims community and the Hong Kong insurance industry, having worked in the territory for nearly 20 years. Most recently, Stephen served at AIG where, over the course of nearly six years, he rose to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his time in AIG, he retained responsibility for claims. Prior to this work, Stephen spent 11 years at Aon Hong Kong Limited, including seven years as Director of Claims Services.
