MCLARENS UNVEILS EMEA SENIOR MANAGEMENT BOARD TO POSITION FOR NEXT PHASEOF GROWTH

The new structure will support a unified approach across Europe, the Middle East and Africa
LONDON – APRIL 2025: Global claims services provider McLarens has introduced an EMEA Senior
Management Board (SMB) and expanded leadership framework, positioning the business for its next
phase of strategic growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The move comes after a recordbreaking fiscal year for the EMEA region, with 25% revenue growth. This momentum has been driven by an enhanced client management structure, the deepening of existing insurer and broker
relationships, and new service proposition developments.

This includes the launch of McLarens’ London International offering, which has extended its international and reinsurance client base. The new EMEA SMB will bring together senior leaders from the UK and continental Europe, including the appointment of Klaas Brand, Managing Director of McLarens Netherlands. This unified Board will guide regional development, leveraging cross-border expertise and aligning strategic objectives across diverse markets.

The EMEA Senior Management Board includes Steven Wallace, Managing Director, EMEA; David
Gillan, Executive Director, Strategic Development; Toby Knight, Executive Director, UK Operations;
Kieran Gallagher, Executive Director, CAT, Emerging Practices and Adjacencies; Neil Baldwin, Executive
Director, Commercial Development; Klaas Brand, Managing Director, Netherlands; Tushar Nimbalkar,
Finance Director, EMEA; Emma Youatt, HR Director, EMEA & Specialty Lines; and Liz Tubb, Group
General Counsel.

In support of this, an EMEA Development Committee has been established, bringing together
experienced leaders with international expertise to identify, analyse and deliver on EMEA
opportunities, including M&A, affiliate relationships, new clients and markets, and product and service
development. This Committee includes Alistair Jacob, Head of London International; Victoria Jewell,
Head of Real Estate; and Louise Butcher, Head of Forensic Accounting.

Steven Wallace, Managing Director of EMEA, commented: “The EMEA region holds great potential,
and we have already seen the benefits of closer engagement and collaboration across all territories.
By increasing our focus, we aim to drive even greater success, supporting our country managers,
enhancing best practice, CAT and Project response resourcing, and global corporate programme
management for our clients and their customers.

“As we continue to grow, we remain true to our core values: practitioner-led, with technical expertise
and service quality at the centre of everything we do. McLarens continues to place its people at the
heart of its success, with succession planning and internal promotion being key drivers of these
developments. With a robust leadership framework, we are well-positioned to seize new opportunities
across the EMEA region and beyond.”

As part of these changes, the UK and Irish businesses will now operate under distinct leadership
structures, reflecting the Irish entity’s maturity under Glenn Goggin’s stewardship and tailored market
focus. While remaining closely aligned on client matters and shared initiatives, the new approach
enables both operations to accelerate growth in their respective regions. A UK Operations Board,
chaired by Toby Knight, Executive Director for UK Operations, has also been introduced. The UK
Leadership Team will continue to focus on operational excellence and growth, with several internal
promotions highlighting McLarens’ continued commitment to recognising and developing
homegrown talent.

Since 2019, the UK & Ireland business has more than tripled in turnover. The newly announced
structure ensures the business remains agile, aligned, and well-positioned for sustained regional
growth.
