Amen commenced his career with McLarens Hong Kong as trainee loss adjuster in 1990 and has since gained considerable adjusting and investigation experience. He then worked with two reputable international Insurers, holding senior role in Claims Department with specialties in business interruption, employee compensation, casualty, property and general liability. Amen re-joined the loss adjusting field in 2000 and worked with three international loss adjusting firms for 33 years and focused on the handling of complex property, casualty and business interruption claims.
Amen completed a bachelor degree and is the Fellow Member of the Australia Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters, Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a senior associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
