Barry is a seasoned insurance professional with over 35 years of experience in claims handling and loss adjusting. He began his career in 1989 as a Claims Handler at Commercial Union, later advancing to Claims Inspector in 1995. In 2000, Barry joined Neill Simms & Co. as a Loss Adjuster, where he specialized in managing complex, high-value claims.
Following Neill Simms & Co.’s acquisition by Quesgates in 2017, Barry became a Senior/Major Loss Adjuster, handling large-scale claims and providing expert guidance during the transition. In 2024, Barry joined McLarens Major Loss Practice as an Executive Adjuster (Major Loss Ireland), leveraging his extensive experience to manage significant loss claims across Ireland.
Throughout his career, Barry has earned a reputation for delivering effective solutions in high-stakes situations and remains a respected leader in the insurance industry.
Barry is involved in Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
