Ben began his career at Lloyds Banking Group in 2013, where he handled domestic property claims before transitioning into loss adjusting. After spending a year at Crawford & Company, Ben joined Direct Group as a Claims Specialist in the Loss Adjusting Support team, which later became part of Davies Group. In 2020, he was promoted to Loss Adjuster, managing high-value residential and commercial claims.
Since becoming a Loss Adjuster, Ben has gained extensive experience managing a wide range of claims, including high-value and complex losses across both domestic and commercial sectors. He has been involved in multiple domestic surge events across the UK, efficiently handling claims in high-pressure environments.
In 2023, Ben spent five months working for McLarens New Zealand as part of the CAT response to the Auckland floods and Cyclone Gabrielle, managing large-scale commercial and domestic claims. He joined McLarens UK in January 2024, and in April 2024, he spent a month in the UAE responding to a CAT event following an extreme weather incident. These international deployments have enhanced his ability to manage catastrophe claims and work effectively in challenging environments.
With extensive experience in both commercial and domestic losses, Ben has worked on high-net-worth claims and catastrophe and surge events in the UK and internationally, handling Flood, Storm, and Escape of Water events with precision and expertise. Ben is involved in CILA, Charted Institute of Loss Adjusting Association.
