Brendon joined McLarens in 2024, having worked exclusively within the insurance industry as a claims professional for 21 years.
His professional career started by handing daily residential property and casualty assignments throughout Florida. Over time Brendon developed a specialized skill set to adjust larger and more complex claims, including large commerical losses. As a result, Brendon is well-versed in property damage and general liability investigation.
As his career progressed, Brendon began handling claims nationally for clients, with a primary concentration throughout the state of Florida. With Florida serving as a primary territory for over 20 years, Brendon has honed his skills during his extensive experience in what most consider a particularly challenging claims environment. He has had heavy exposure to files rooted in representation, litigation, and dispute. Being responsible for covering the state of Florida has provided Brendon signicant experience with CAT claims as well, which often range from simple residental losses to multi-milliion dollar commerical buildings.
With the development in Brendon’s career, he began serving as a carrier-appointed appraiser for disputed files. Brendon has handled appraisals for over 15 years, with peers and managers commending him on his communciation and negotiation skills. Working within the confines of the appraisal process, Brendon has also served as Umpire for many appraisal assignments.
