Brian provides forensic accounting, valuation, and adjustment services to insurance industry clients. Having worked at public accounting and independent adjusting firms for over 30 years, he has acquired extensive experience analyzing property and casualty claims.
His accounting evaluations have focused on business interruption, extra expense, and other complex calculations, including those used in loss measurements for specialty insurance coverage such as builder’s risk, crisis management, and product recall.
Brian has analyzed various markets, industries, and businesses that have sustained economic damages from natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and other loss incidents. These analyses have included financial condition examinations, fraud investigations, and assisting the FBI with criminal investigations.
In addition to his valuation experience in litigation, appraisal, and other ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) services on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, he has given expert testimony by deposition and at trial in federal and state court cases.
