Prior to joining McLarens, Britt began his career in the insurance industry in 1998 working as an Agent and Producer with a large insurance agency where he developed knowledge in the marketing, property claim, automobile claim, and liability claim aspects of the insurance industry.
In 2000, Britt moved into claims adjusting, working for a large insurer until 2003 when he began a 13-year run as an independent catastrophe claim specialist. During this time, Britt gained extensive experience handling large volumes of residential and commercial property losses. He then spent one year as a Lead Estimator for a nationwide restoration contractor where he further developed his skill set in generating large and complex commercial restoration estimates.
Britt joined McLarens in 2017 and has continued to develop skills as a commercial large loss specialist including claims for Builder’s Risk, Business Interruption, and Liability losses. Additionally, Britt continues to further his knowledge by attending various training programs involving updated property damage assessments, loss estimating practices, structural drying, fire and smoke restoration, and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems.
