Cédric started his career in 1998 as a PART 66 Licensed engineer, B1 & C certified on Airbus aircraft for a newly created maintenance organisation based in the South of France. The wide range of activities, from line & base maintenances to end of lease recovery inspections, enabled him to acquire extensive knowledge in aircraft systems. He also held a Part 145 Accountable Manager position when he became Production Manager for this company.
In 2005, Cédric joined the Airbus Customer Support department as a Field Service Representative, providing support to Engineering, Flight Operations, Maintenance, & Warranty departments from various airlines around the globe (India, Switzerland, UK.) His roles included the preparation of the entry into service of the A320 for a new Indian operator as well as the support to the fleet growth expansion of a major Low Cost Carrier based in UK.
With the intention to widen his technical background, in 2013 Cédric joined the Customer Support department of an European engine manufacturer, Safran (Safran created with General Electric the joined venture ‘CFM International’ for the manufacturing of CFM56 and LEAP engines.)
Being a CFM Field Service Engineer, Cédric was assigned to the Airbus Delivery Center in Toulouse as an engine technical advisor, supporting over a period of 15 months deliveries of more than 115 newly manufactured A320 CFM powered aircraft. He then moved to Sweden, based at a legacy operator, in order to prepare and manage the first entry into service in Europe of the A320Neo powered by LEAP1A engines.
These 14 years of expatriation as a Field Service Engineer enhanced his ability to adapt in various circumstances, with a highly customer driven mindset. In parallel to his ongoing role, Cédric was appointed Senior Regional Manager for Safran, being in charge of 11 FSEs based in the Northern European region. He held this position for two years until he joined McLarens Aviation in 2019.
Cédric holds a French Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautic Maintenance. In 2021, he relocated from our Heathrow office to our Paris office.
