Biography

Dan gained a BTEC National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering from Brooklands college, he then went on to work in General Aviation Base Maintenance for Alan Mann Aviation/Gama at Fairoaks Airport. Dan joined British Airways Engineering in 2012, starting in the component workshops in Wheels and Brakes, Pneumatics and also the Oxygen shop. In 2014, Dan moved out to Terminal 5 line Engineering, maintaining the legacy fleet of 747s and 777s, whilst gaining invaluable practical experience, he completed his B1.1 License module exams and was issued a License in 2019. Dan left British Airways in 2021 and joined JMI Oxford, carrying out base maintenance on Cessna Citation business jets, after one year Dan was transferred to Biggin Hill as a line engineer, working across the UK and Europe as part of the AOG team maintaining various business jet types. In 2023 he returned to British Airways, working at Terminal 5 on 787s and 777s before joining McLarens in 2024.
