David began his career in the industry in the late 1990s, working with Servicemaster. His work primarily focused on domestic services, such as general fire cleaning and carpet cleaning, but did not extend to larger commercial projects.
In 2001, he transitioned to the commercial sector, joining Belfor via an agency. This role offered diverse and rewarding experiences, addressing fire and flood damage in a variety of commercial settings, including schools, industrial warehouses, automotive garages, factories, shops, and other large properties throughout the UK.
By 2004, David was offered a full-time position within Belfor’s Residential sector. In this role, he focused on domestic properties in the East Midlands, while also contributing to efforts across the UK during flood surge events.
Following an internal staff redirection at Belfor in 2010, David returned to the Commercial sector, working on nationwide projects and occasionally collaborating with Belfor’s international teams. His career advanced steadily: he was promoted to Lead Technician in 2013, Supervisor in 2017, and Site Manager in 2021.
In August 2024, David left Belfor to join McLarens as part of their Mitigation Team, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in both domestic and commercial damage restoration.
