After obtaining a degree in Law, David commenced his loss adjusting career in 2000 with Davies Loss Adjusters. He quickly developed from general adjuster to part of the senior adjusting team and progressed to Branch Manager level of one of Davies largest offices in Guildford.
In 2008, David moved into the Major & Complex Loss Unit of Davies to specialize in High-Net-Worth losses. In 2014, David’s performance was recognized when he received an award from Sterling Insurance for claims handling ability in the High-Net-Worth arena.
David left Davies in early 2015 having attained Associate Director status and moved to Criterion Adjusters in early 2015 to concentrate further on Private Client and High Net Worth loss adjusting. In 2017, he was promoted to the role of Operations Manager and ultimately had around 20 adjusters reporting into him. A further award for claims handling service was received from Covea Insurance in 2019.
In September 2023, David joined the Private Clients Team of QuestGates as Private Clients Development Director and was soon promoted to Head of Private Clients however, in order to focus on his passion for High Net Worth claims, David moved to McLarens Private Clients & Estates team in March 2025, taking up the position of Executive Manager.
