Dieter Smit joined McLarens Aviation in April 2015 from South African Airways Technical, where he worked for 14 years. Firstly at the IFE department specialising in Inflight Entertainment maintenance and later as a Senior Aviation Technician with maintenance release. Dieter has technical qualifications on Electrical Engineering, is an Aircraft Radiotrician / Avionician and is certified on A319/A320/A321 family, A330/A340 family, B737-3/4/500 family, B737-7/800 family, B747-400 with full Mechanical extension.
