Elvis boasts 30 years insurance industry experience, having been employed to underwriters in various capacities before being a broker. He began his career with three years at General Accident Insurance Company (Jamaica) Limited and then onto The Insurance Company of the West Indies Limited for another four years, before a successful 15-year stint with Allied Insurance Brokers Limited.
In 2011, Elvis brought his extensive knowledge of various policies and client servicing skills to McLarens. He has continued to build McLarens’ reputation in the Kingston office and the wider Caribbean area as an Executive Loss Adjuster (ELA). His expertise also includes:
Property damage; standard property loss forms; London Market policies and manuscript coverage; machinery; marine and inland transit losses; coverage interpretation; adjustment of major losses to risks from catastrophic events such as hurricane (Caribbean Region), earthquake, riot/civil commotion.
As an active senior commissioned officer with the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force (JCCF) with responsibility for training, Elvis’ experience in leadership, people management, logistics and time management have been significant assets to the organisation.
