Fernando Cardona, a graduate of Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, began his career in the insurance market during Hurricane Maria at Universal Insurance Company as an administrative assistant. Due to his accounting background, he was transferred to provide support to McLarens by handling Hurricane Maria’s CAT bordereaux with more than 5,000 claims. In 2019 he joined McLarens as an adjuster handling a variety of Property and Casualty claims.
