Jack Gunka

Jack is an experienced aviation professional with a demonstrated history of working in the airline, corporate and general aviation industry. Jack is an experienced pilot and certified FAA aircraft maintenance technician who also holds an inspection authorization. Jack enjoys everything from flying to maintaining his own aircraft to troubleshooting complex systems on jumbo jets. Jack recently came from DC Jet Services at Chicago Midway Airport where he spent the last 11 months providing 24/7 AOG aircraft support for various charter and private organizations. Prior to joining DC Jet Services, Jack spent over six years providing line maintenance tech services at Flight Check Commercial Aviation Services located at Chicago O’Hare airport. Jack’s specialty was providing support for the Boeing 777-300ER, 777F and 747-400 for various airlines and cargo companies at ORD. Jack has line maintenance experience on Boeing 737, 757, 767, 787, Airbus 319, 320, 321 and various other aircraft. Prior to Flight Check, Jack operated various online and offline companies. From 2003 to 2010 Jack was a joint proprietor of a successful flight school at Chicago’s Midway Airport. Jack operated an FAA testing facility and an FAA part 61 flight school with over a dozen aircraft and instructors and a successful twin-engine time building program.
