James began his career in the insurance industry during Hurricane Katrina where he worked more than 150 property damage claims over the course of five months in the New Orleans area. The extensive experience James earned during this time while handling claims of varying degrees of complexity allowed for him to become a sought after resource from fellow adjusters.
James then was hired at Pilot Catastrophes, where he worked for another nine years before joining Engle Martin in 2014, where he stayed until 2023. He was often recognized by management and peers for his dedication and service to clients. James worked one year as a General Adjuster with Crawford and before joining Mclarens in 2024.
