James began his career in the insurance industry in 2018 as a Claims Administrator with GHG Solutions. During the subsidence surge that same year, he transitioned into the subsidence division as a desk-based Subsidence Technician.
After four years in this role, James progressed to Senior Subsidence Desk Technician, where he further honed his technical expertise. In this capacity, he completed his Cert CILA qualification and conducted site visits to assess and validate new subsidence claims.
Many of James’s site visits were based in the Channel Islands, and when Storm Darragh struck in December 2024, he supported the property division by inspecting affected properties while continuing his responsibilities within the subsidence division.
In January 2025, James joined McLarens, bringing his extensive experience and dedication to the team.
