Jay grew in an Aviation family and began flying with his father at the age of five, and was able to take off by the time he was eight years old. He has flown mostly tail dragger aircraft and has experience flying a small aerobatic open cockpit biplane. Jay got his license in 1984 and took his final check ride in his own plane.
In Jay’s professional experience, he has worked at Beechcraft Dealership, an Air Ambulance company as well as at United Airlines.
