Mathieu has over 20 years of aviation experience including 12 years as an aircraft maintenance engineer responsible for the supervision of general maintenance programs on a variety of aircraft, from private jets to larger airliners. Mathieu is also a licensed claim adjuster and has been responsible to handle several aviation-related assignments since 2010 when he joined the company.
Mathieu holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence (AME) as well as an Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P), he is a former technical investigator for the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. He is fluent in French and English.
