Melissa started her career at McLarens as an administrative professional, joining the firm in 1996. An Illinois native, Melissa has worked for McLarens in the Chicago market her entire professional career. Previously she has handled data management, trust fund establishment and management, payment disbursements, claim reviews and audits, and billing procedures. Melissa has also been a part of the McLarens internal Ambassador program, implementing and training adjusting and administrative staff on the use of McLarens One, McLarens first true global claims system. In 2019, Melissa obtained her Property & Casualty adjusting license and is now a TPA and Property independent desk adjuster. Her experience includes policy interpretation and recommendations, while managing commercial property losses including dwelling, commercial buildings, renter’s programs, tenant policy placement programs and more.
Melissa is also a board member on the Women’s Board for the Chicago Zoological Society. Melissa and her family have a true passion for animal conservation and the society is the fundraising platform to keep the integrity of the zoo for many years to come.
