Mike is a chartered accountant and experienced claim practitioner, beginning his career at a global claims management and loss adjusting firm in London. Mike began working on high volume, low quantum Business Interruption and stock claims before qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2018. Mike has since gained experience dealing with major and complex business interruption losses , stock validation/quantification, and litigation cases, as well as leading the response to the high volume of claims resulting from Covid-19 in the United Kingdom.
Mike has significant CAT experience, spending four months spent in Puerto Rico after Hurricanes Irma & Maria, as well as two months in Sydney following the 2019 bushfire season. He moved from London to Sydney in September 2024, joining McLarens.
