Following his graduation from Shanghai Maritime University with a bachelor degree in navigation technology in 1999, Michael Gan joined CNOOC Shanghai Crew Company as a seaman, where he was promoted to Second Officer. In 2001 Michael was employed by an international survey company where he commenced his career as a Marine Loss Adjuster. In 2006 Michael joined another international survey company where he gained experience in conducting marine inspections, in regard to bulk liquid claims.
Michael joined McLarens in October 2011 as a senior Marine Loss Adjuster and during this period has handled numerous types of cargo & liability related claims.
