Michele started in the insurance industry in 1990 as a property adjuster with State Farm Insurance, working both property and casualty claims, before moving up to be a manager on the National Catastrophe Team for five years.
She later became independent adjuster in 2001, working a portfolio of accounts focusing on commercial properties: habitational real estate, commercial shopping centers, and many individual retail entities with a national footprint. In 2015 Michele joined McLarens, continuing her insurance career as an EGA.While with McLarens she has managed two hospital portfolios and a global logistics company, as well as handling several product recall losses.
Michele has her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter’s (CPCU) designation, and is an active member of Claims Litigation Management. She was also a past president of the National Association of Insurance Women NYC branch.
