Mike graduated as an Architect and worked for 10 years as Head of the Technical and Construction area of Juan José Rodriguez & Juan Jose Rodriguez Arquitectos, Axis Loss Adjusters representatives in El Salvador. Mike started performing building inspections becoming General Manager and later on Deputy Manager of the Central American Region, where he also became Team Leader for catastrophic events for Hurricane Wilma, Emily, Stan and the floods in Tabasco, Mexico in October 2007.
In 2010 for the Chile EQ Mike was transferred as CAT Response Team Leader and stayed in Chile for the next 5 years working as Risk Manager for Residential Lines for Faraggi Global Risk. After returning to his hometown, he worked as an Architect for the Social Investment Fund in El Salvador sponsored by the IDB and later served as General Manager of AIR Adjuster as General Manager.
Mike joined McLarens Puerto Rico in 2020 as an Executive General Adjuster where he has participated in the coordination of various catastrophic events such as Hurricane Eta and Iota in Honduras, 2021 and Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico 2022. He has vast experience in Property, Fire, Machinery Breakdown, Equipment Breakdown and Cash in transit among other lines of services.
