Stephen began his insurance career at Suncorp in 2016, starting in the events team. Over the years, he held a variety of roles within Suncorp, including a year stint in Commercial Property and Specialty recovery claims, and a two-year technical position where he developed a deep understanding of claims and complaint management.
His time at Suncorp allowed him to handle a wide range of claims, from general events to specialized cases. Seeking new challenges, Stephen moved to Longitude, where he specialized in managing strata claims, further broadening his expertise in property insurance.
In 2023, Stephen joined McLarens through their trainee program and quickly progressed into a Loss Adjuster role. Since then, he has been actively involved in managing construction, construction liability and machinery breakdown claims.
