Steven graduated from Daelim University in 1992 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He joined a leading local adjusting company in Korea and qualified as a Certified Loss Adjuster in 2006. During his 15 years with the firm he handled over 3,000 cases including fire and perils, business interruption, CAR and EAR, contractors’ plant & machinery, general and products liability, products recall, theft, as well as marine cargo and bodily injury. Steven was awarded a prize for special achievement and promoted to Manager.
In 2014 he joined the Korea operation of McLarens and, building on his extensive experience, has handled several multi-million dollar losses including:
- Property (USD 30 million) and Business Interruption (USD 15 million) loss at refinery following major damage to terminal facilities
- Product recall involving several nuclear power stations
- Slope failure at major road building project
Steven has also undertaken overseas assignments on behalf of the Korean insurance market and is gaining recognition from customers of his high capabilities.
