Biography

Susan joined McLarens in October 2014 offering nearly 20 years of business development management experience within the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, with an emphasis on developing relationships within the Excess & Surplus lines sector. Susan joined McLarens to recruit, build out, and expand the business development capabilities in the United States. As a member of McLarens senior management, Susan oversees the domestic sales and business development team as well as the global marketing, branding, and external communications team for the McLarens Family of Brands.

She is currently active in numerous national industry associations such as NAPSLO, RIMS, Florida Surplus Lines and PLRB. Her strengths include: Relationship Sales, Marketing Strategy, Business Management, Corporate Operations, Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting, Marketing Management, Branding, Account Management, Training, Client Service, Corporate Branding, Public Relations, and Advertising.

As McLarens expands, Susan is a part of the change management and operations team supporting the CEO’s vision to bring employees together internally and lead the charge to increase transparency between McLarens and the market externally.
