McLarens, the global loss adjuster specialising in complex, commercial and niche markets, has added Steven Baltzell as Executive General Adjuster to its Entertainment team effective February 3, 2020. Reporting into Senior Executive General Adjuster, Paul Gilbert, Steven will continue to build the growing division and focus on both technical service offerings as well as securing client relationships for the Entertainment and Contingency Claims practice.
Steven joins McLarens from OneBeacon Insurance Company and brings over 30 years of proven industry-wide experience in claims, consulting, investigation, negotiation and management. Serving most recently as OneBeacon’s Claims Manager, he oversaw claims operations in North America and built key relationships with clients and strategic partners. Throughout his career, Steven has held various leadership positions in loss adjusting, claims litigation, and investigation in breach of contract, personal injury, and served as an expert witness.
In addition, Steven, is a Certified Fraud Examiner, and both a licensed Private Investigator and Independent Insurance Adjuster in California. His accounting background and MBA will compliment McLarens’ offerings in specialized adjusting, audit and evaluation services.
